do the defrosters on your windshield cameras work?If so how do you turn them on?
Example, when I go out to my car and there's condensation on the glass, if I hit the rear defroster button when then a few seconds you can see the condensation on the rear glass evaporate, if I hit the front defroster button, obviously I get the air flowing on the windshield, but nothing seems to turn those little heater strips on on the cameras.
I've also been told that some cars don't have these?
Maybe simply the ambient temp is measured against interior temp... and it's triggered? Do you have a FLIR based heat detector -- you can see if that area is activated and warmer when the car is running the heat in the cabin.

It's possible it's automatically triggered by temp.
It's hasn't got colder then 45 here in Florida...
I use the deforest so I don't have to turn on the wipers for that nighttime condensation.
The defrosters are automatically activated based on exterior temperature and interior humidity. IF you pull the camera cover off, you will see the humidity sensor there also.
