390mm Brakes + Caliper Paint + full brake DIY and FINALLY NO DUST!

You think your friend can make a bunch and we can get a group buy for them at a decent price. I know you mentioned on the video.
I found these too??
Well., thank you for pissing me off :-)
I hear that if I claim there is inflation I am racist.

for the rears they have a complete set of brembo incl. pads for $280…
Only part I bought from fcp (due to higher prices) were the 85mm M12 bolts…
let me know, if you’re in need of a set of spacers…

Can you provide direct links? Because the 390mm from there are showing as $552/each.

Thank you Kenney, I literally just referenced and sent your video to my friend who has all the tools for us to do this haha. I'm a dumbass for forgetting all that was in there. 🤦🏼
kenney answered the bolt question. The bolts were only readily available at fcp.
one thing I’ve realized during the install, the original bolts have washers, not sure if these washers change ID size through the force of the M12 bolts, but I had to re-drill them with the 31/64 drill bit to be able to re-use them with the 85mm Porsche bolts… Some tough material, these washers are made of… drill bit didn’t like it :-D

Since they no longer refund your card, they give you store credit. So, you have to reorder 3 times to start actually not having to pay out of pocket.
1) $500 first purchase in your funds.
2) Reorder $500 in your funds. They put $500 in store credit on your account.
3) Reorder $500 in store credit.
Edit: to maintain the old policy exchange of refund on your card (for qualifying old orders) you must contact customer service to do it, otherwise the automatic system will do the store credit regardless.

The 2304211212 P/N has the wide compatibility and a shorter hat. Rockauto price is $369.79.

We're sure the 230 (SL) P/N fits our W212s?
maybe these 390mm will last even longer, due to having more surface…

And yes, they give you the money in your second order. But the problem is that you have to order before they do their "refund" for the warranty. Which used to be fine because you actually got a refund to your card/purchase method. Now you have to order that second order with your money still and then they give you the "refund" in store credit. Thus you are still out of your funds until your third reorder when you can finally start using the store credit. But even then, you will only then have store credit being stored. And who wants to potentially be waiting around with let's say $1400 in store credit INSTEAD of actual money while you are waiting to do your next brake job.
This scheme is still great for items that are frequently changed and not TOO costly like fluids, filters, wiper blades, brake pads, cleaning supplies, etc. but for big ticket items that are change infrequently or only when they unexpectedly fail... Not so much.

That might also depend on what state you are in as a consumer. In some places they are required to offer the option of a refund as opposed to a credit assuming a tangible item is returned to the vendor...meaning, that if there is a fee for labor or intellectual property it is a hard nut to crack...
