How to replace front bumper trim

So does anyone know how to replace these trim pieces? I went out to try to do it and it looks like i should be able to yank them off but i didnt want to break anything so i stopped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yup, bumper comes off. Cause there are screws that hold it from behind. It’s easy to replace. I replaced mine on the same side last year. Like 30 minutes of work. $800 charge from the dealer is straight up highway robbery considering that piece was like $50.

They're actually torx screws on the back side. The bumper has to come off, it's not that hard, probably takes about 10 minutes to remove the bumper. Just careful not to scratch anything.

I literally just bought these and will be installing this this week

Lol I don't suppose you can film it and upload it to YouTube as a tutorial. That would have been so much helpful to find on YouTube I wish we had alot more videos on how to fix things with our cars. I know the videos saved me when fixing my old E55.

Man I wish I was more mechanically inclined.
I guess I got hosed.
They said they may even have to recalibrate all the sensors too. I just said "ok".
OH well.

Lol ohh so your this guy. Like your videos BTW. I followed your brake video for my rear brakes and I'm thinking about to get some spacers machined for the front upgrade. I know it's off topic of this thread, one question I had about your break upgrade for the front brakes was, how is the wear pattern holding up / going with stock sized pads on the bigger rotor?

Super easy job, if the bumper is removed. Took me about 20 minutes to get the bumper off, no lift required of course.
You do need a fairly small e socket or torx to undo the bolts

does the bumper have to come off to remove the piece that is carbon fiber in the pic above? Thinking about painting or wrapping it.
