Whelp missed the sale. Anyone going to be upgrading from the blackboost kit and want to resell it?
Honestly the instructions not being public is kinda sus. I'm used to the Volvo world and places like IPD just post them on the store pages for each upgrade.
nothing sus at all . And 80% of these companies don’t provide instructions while we actually have detailed instructions that we provide to every customer when it’s purchased. Along with videos. We have many satisfied installs already. @Jaybird123 being one of them.

Absolutely agree! I tried to share a very transparent perspective on my own install experience above, and many compliments to @Cifdig for his support and patience! I made a few silly mistakes, and I would be happy to share any details or answer any questions with anyone else here as they go through the install too. I’ve now driven from KY to NC to NYC with zero issues…and several spirited pulls along the way lol.

These intakes are going to bring the m157 to a new chapter of performance. Absolutely bonkers these are big turbo numbers. . Waste hate duty is dropping substantially

On the Dragy mod list, it shows big (TTE 1050) turbos, not stock turbos.
and is a 2018 E63s also a w213 in that part of the world? Maybe this is the wrong dragy - the 6.06 in the whatsapp chat looked different.
or maybe you meant to include both 6.06 and show that it matched a w213 with big turbos?

I accidentally took that picture because I looked at the time and not the name . Completely ignoring there were multiple 6.06. Thank you for that .

What else is done to that stock turbo 6.06 m157? Downpipes I'm sure, 93 or e blend? If e blend, or straight e, upgraded pumps?
Maybe the owner can chime in. Also curious if the tune was adjusted for those intakes

No revised tune . But it has Jerry E30-e20 tune high flow intakes, Catless dp. And meth injection but not tuned just for backup and cooling. It’s running stock fuel pumps. It’s basically running big turbo numbers . And we will start seeing this more often.

Are you sure that is Gen 2 kit? That looks to be Gen 1. Gen 2 has more oval filters and the air boxes don’t have the name plates. Gen 2 also has the intake tubes and engine cover pieces.

100% correct, my fingers are fat and I didn’t proofread my post. They’re Gen1.

I’m in a bit of a predicament. I currently run the following mods.
xstages intake
weistec asv
jerrys e47 tune
hks plugs.
my hpfp is currently needing a replacement. I’m stuck on going with xdi hpfp
or
get rid of the xstages intakes and just get the modal intakes and meth.
I already planned on getting meth, but I need some insight with what route to take. I’ve seen some very tempting results with the hpfp upgrades. And I’ve seen great results with the modal intakes.
just need an unbiased opinion.

I cannot answer your hpfp question, though I’m curious what symptoms/codes indicate yours need replacement? I have considered upgraded pumps but they sure are pricey, and must consider other related changes recommended at that step too
I can say I have Modalworks intakes, HKS plugs, same Jerry tune, and catless dp’s…and I am eagerly awaiting a meth setup next! My car is scary fast, purrs and growls, and is a helluva lot of fun!

fuel pressure drops, car goes into limp mode to prevent failure because of fuel starvation. Misfire codes all around.
Did this start after some E40(+) mix? I’m not poking you, I’m asking because I have had some similar experiences with mine
it started happening shortly after. Pretty sure it’s not the ethanol. There’s a ton of people with this tune and don’t have any issues.
just replaced my lpfp, helped rail pressure a little but was still low. The pump looked like the oem one.
the injectors look oem
the hpfp looks to be replaced by the previous owner. I can only speculate, but the previous owner may have took the cheap route and went with an aftermarket one.
i have injectors otw and I’ll be buying an xdi hpfp soon.
