How Hot does the engine oil gets too in a 2014 e63 and whats the idle temp on the display

I think I remember seeing 220° (+/- 2°) in mine during the summer. It all depends on how much you push your car and if you have been sitting in traffic or what not.

Which display? The AMG menu or the temperature gauge? On the AMG menu, my oil temp normally ranges from 195°F to 209°F when at operating temperature, depending on my transmission mode and my current driving conditions.

Yes the AMG menu and i can see my temp at 230
is that normal i mean i was pushing it too and its hot out side and its summer too so i

pretty normal for pushing the car in the summer .. 80F+

The highest oil temp I got was 235F pushing it hard and then changes the oil, figured it's burnt after 1500 miles. That's 1500 of rough driving with AMG gang.
