S550 NFL Player, has the competitive spirit!
This AM I am in a print shop getting some new fliers for one of our business'. Pulling in I notice a very nice S550. Inside I look at a very tall dude...ask if it is his "Black car out there"...he confirms it is, and says "aint to way you want to race it, it has a V8 turbo in it".
So, and of course...I said...sure, I will race it. He laughs and says, what, you one of those little Hondas? Lets race 1 mile on the highway....
I tell him "I am in an E class station wagon"....he promptly tells me that no E can keep up with an S over one mile.....
"Um, yeah, but mine has AMG logos all over it"
Awwwwwwwwwww Dayum! I wont be racing that for no race!.
(Sure nice guy, former NFL player - not sure what team. If I am not mistaken that is the game with the oblong ball). Proves to me (also as a former pro athlete - cycling)....yeah, competitive is competitive. We simply cant turn it off..... :-)

Tons. Plus, I have more than one friend who has their own runway.....2mi is no issue.
I have many times gone WOT on the runway, I have never done it next to another car. Some years ago I guess some kids in something or other forgot to hit the brakes at the end of this particular runway.
