Good Question. I don’t have any walnut trees in my immediate vicinity and this was very clearly a nut from last year. I also don’t have an any squirrel “problems”. It may have been from a drive through the woods which I do frequently. Perhaps an odd richochet. I did hear a slight sound at the end of the last drive but figured I was just imagining it. Backing up out of the driveway must have moved it and lodged it in.
