Pulling in today (in the golf cart)...I noticed a clear color variant on my front tire (I was too lazy to go look at the other one)....almost as if the outter area never, not ever touches the road. Or, is that a diffrent durometer of rubber over there? Seems very consistant on that line.

Same here, it’s the camber on our car.
the tires on our car f/r inner tire makes most contact. Outer tire barely gets much traction to it due to the way the tire is cambered. Thus inner side of tire wears out much quicker than outer tire tread.

what make, model size tire?
Check the others if same type tire - idea if normal or not

Might be one of those with different compounds inner edge, middle outer edge for performance reasons on a daily driver..

Maybe camber is out and tire is leaning in at top putting more wear on inside versus outside and driving on dirty roads?

I am reaching here - but if it is the same all the way around - I am sticking with Manufactured that way or in manufactured in error..

Definitely compare to the rubber compound on the other side. I think the effect was exacerbated by the wheel being turned as you drove in and parked. When the wheel is turned, you can see the outer area does not touch. More would touch if the tire was strait. You could always chalk the tire to check. This picture would indicate abnormal wear. My tires wear unevenly but nothing like that and it's usually abated by hard fast turns which wear the shoulders well. Not even my rears on my rwd that wear out the inner edge fast have untouched shoulders. If the tire shows the same poor contact when driven strait, with proper psi, Id look into it further.

Also, I dont think your car is lowered but that would obviously make it worse.
