2014 E63s wagon
Miles: 53K
Need front tires
Needs alignment -- did sloppy last alignment job
Front differential leaking -- needs sealing $2700 --- hopefully Fidelity would cover it
Sticky parking brake --- could not be replicated.
Battery: Found code for high resistance in the additional battery --- Recommended replacing &475 ---- Could do it myself
Transmission/Brake fluid/coolant and filters change recommended --- Have a friend coming over from NC to service the other cars, will have all that done at that time
Car is at the dealer and very inconvenient for me to go back and forth (60 miles each way and timing), so is there anything special about the transmission service and coolant flush that I have to let dealer do it?
I will go through the archives and sticky for alignment specs but for a quick reference, any recommendations --- car is lowered with front springs and the links in the rear

I’ve seen a couple of your posts recently about warranty. You may have seen where before I ran out of warranty I did pretty much the same thing and left my car at Mercedes for about $10,000 worth of resealing a few leaks. Some of this I could’ve done myself, but I figured while it’s in there, I wanted everything done.. and this was really to use the value of the warranty because I normally tackle any job that doesn’t weigh a lot meaning I really only got the warranty for the engine and transmission because I’d rather do the work myself than to ever take it to a workshop since I am much more **** than the average Amg master tech out there.Originally Posted by Faast

As an FYI, at 73,000 miles and before my Fidelity contract expired, I asked about renewal and it was gonna be about $10,000 for 48,000 miles and four years… I declined the future warranty service contract.
Transmission is easy enough if you buy the right adapter tool and have the ability to measure the temperature of the fluid. Nothing else special there. Fcp for the kit with filter. If you were so inclined now is the time to do an upgraded transmission pan and cooler.
For coolant, these cars really do need a good vacuuming and then running the car, letting it cool down and doing a good vacuum again. The two times I’ve had the dealer do this. They did have to re-vacuum it. Basically it depends if they go through a couple cooldown cycles while it’s in the shop. Sometimes they just like to fill up the expansion tank all the way, hoping that the bubbles will sort themselves out.. and I have found in this engine, they usually don’t. I’ve done it myself as well with success.
So, having done all the fluids myself on my car I can say that you shouldn’t have any problems with the right tools and procedures.
unfortunately, I can’t recommend you any videos because I don’t bookmark those things and I also use xentry and wis…but have no idea how to save and email the work instructions.
^^^^^ Thanks
Does anyone have access to factory process of doing the transmission and the coolant?

Here’s coolant change information. Generally, the process is the same on all Mercedes. Know that there are two coolant systems: one for the engine and one for the intercooler. Attached are instructions for the main engine since the bleeding process is important to eliminate the risk of air pockets being trapped inside the engine. The intercooler system is much simpler.
Here is a video showing how to use the vacuum method, as prescribed by mercedes. I’ve attached a pdf on the Schwaben tool, but there are others that work well, too.
