US dealers now have full pricing for the 2018 E63s wagon, and I am planning to order one this week.

What are people's thoughts on Aluminum Trapeze Cut or Metal Weave for interior trim?

My dealer didn't have either on a car in store and all of their AMGs had carbon fiber so I am hoping to hear about these other two options because my wife hates carbon fiber and is pushing for the black ash wood. Thanks!

 

I ordered mine with metal weave. Next closet look to cf. do note the centre console will be in glossy piano black, that means it will be finger print magnate.

If if you go dark ash trim, my understanding it will be the same for the centre console as matching (no finger prints ... haha)

 

I don't like the weave or the Carbon Fiber myself. I went with the Magnolia Wood with flowing lines but ya it automatically comes with the gloss black center console, had no choice. I would have preferred wood there too, don't have a choice though.

 

Thanks...hadn't thought of the glossy black console as a finger print trap. I might have to do the dark ash. Appreciate both responses!
