Are these pretty safe reliability wise? Obviously messing with the car under warranty under lease isn't a great idea, but... what could really go wrong by installing these and what are the chances?

thinking of getting a set of catless downpipes but not sure I want to get a tune
had anyone here installed downpipes ( catless) with o2 spacers ?

We couldn't get the car to clear the CEL with O2 spacers or the FabSpeed units with little cats in them. Drove the car with the CEL on for a road trip and got a misfire half way through. Stopped @ grabbed a scanner / erased the codes and it was fine the rest of the trip. I'm not saying it's impossible but we couldn't figure out how to run catless without a tune and no CEL. Make sure you like your cars loud, with catless DPs and open muffler valves the thing sounds like a legit DTM race car. Cold starts in the garage are better then coffee in the morning to get your day started!

thanxs, maybe just the 2nd cat delete would do the job then... more sound and no cel?

Looking at the tq graph, why the big dip over stock at 4,000? What tune did you use after installing the DP and did you use any other mods when going on the dyno?

There is no welding involved.
Remove OEM down pipes and install the new ones. Any qualified sho can do it in 4 to 5 hrs.
