Post your Color combo- Killing time

So while we all patiently wait for our car to arrive.....Curious to see what color combo you all went for...I assume most went Grey.

I'll start

Canvasite Blue- with all Carbon exterior packs

Red for mine with the nut brown int and magnolia wood.

https://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehic...E/model-E63S4S

Interior https://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehic...b=tab-interior Can't get the interior saved as mine is, anybody who wants to see the combo though can just hit in Nut Brown leather and Magnolia wood. Default is coming up black with silver, not what my car will be hopefully, lol

no not an edition 1. It's a grey mango and the edition 1 are black. I have no clue about the care of the matte paints but I live in SoCal so should be minimal for me. I think just hand wash no car washes.

It may be just the lighting, but that car looks darker than the Selenite Grey Magno.

The car I'm picking up through the EDP in just over a month is Selenite Grey Magno with the night package and the carbon fiber trim. But not the carbon fiber spoiler and mirror covers. I thought they would look a bit tacked on and like I was going for too much bling.

Yeah it is selenite Grey magno with night package and the carbon exterior 1 and 2. I have the full carbon package on my C450 and it looks great including the rear spoiler.
really gives it a sportier look with the contrast.

That blue with the black forged wheels does look very sharp, if that had been available in the USA I may have gone with that, I had changed my order to the Selenite Gray but then back to Red when I saw the same Red paint on a new AMG GT on the dealers lot. I just got a 2015 S550 a couple months ago that Is very close to the Selenite gray so I did not want the cars parked side by side being practically the same color. I'm not much of a fan of the Magno colors because I really like the convenience of going through a car wash and if you did that with that flat finish there might be noticeable water spots after that could be hard to remove, knowing myself I'd be wiping down them every time after and be late for important meetings and that kind of thing. I like my cars looking good at all times and that would drive me crazy. I don't have the time to hand wash the car every time.

The exterior of mine is Cardinal Red with the Night Package, badges deleted and RTP wheels. The interior is black leather, black dinamica headliner, magnolia flowing lines wood.

At least I hope I still want it whenever it gets here.

Selenite Gray over Macchiato Beige with CF interior trim. AMG Night package, RTS wheels, fender badge delete. I am not a big fan of fabric steering wheels so I went with the perforated nappa leather wheel.

She just arrived in the US and cleared customs. Hopefully she will be released with the rest of the herd some time in October.

Beautiful AMG and thanks for the pic.s
I was searching for the answer to if the side badge delete also deleted the stuck on trim that surrounds the badge and your picture shows clearly that it just deletes the silver lettering and not the surround. Mystery solved for me.

How do you like this color combination? This is what I have on order, but I haven't even been issued an allocation yet. Can you perhaps post a picture with the window down, or the car door open so I can see the Selenite Gray with the Macchiato Beige interior?

Thanks!

It will look fantastic. But what would be even better is Magno Selenite Gray with Macchiato Beige.

Looking back on it maybe I shoulda got the Dakota brown with the beige interior or the Green with the beige interior, either way that would have been super rare and maybe fetched more when I went to sell the car. If anyone has either of these colors please post, would like to see how they look.https://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehic...b=tab-exterior

FWIW,, Ferdinand Porsche was very found of dark green and all his cars were such. Following tradition, dealers were allocated X number of cars in this color and used to ***** because they almost always had to end up selling them at a discount where a red, silver or black they did not. This was in Upstate NY. If green is your thing, by all means get what you like. I would not be concerned ta color's potential resale value because your local market and who is shopping will determine what is a desirable color.

Just my 2 cents but since this is the W213 forum and not the W212 I suppose that is now an option and 20,000 cents.

Ya, I guess your right Karl, I guess I just like to have something that nobody else does. I thought when I ordered the Red, nobody would get that but a lot more cars did go Red. Oh well. I guess there is a reason we are not seeing any brown or green AMGs and thats because those shades of those colors do not look the greatest. If it had been more like a British Racing green I definitely would have got that with the nut brown interior, but the green mb offers is much darker. The Dakota Brown in my opinion is not the greatest shade of Brown, I even like the Dolimite Brown they offered a while back better. I suppose either of these colors could end up making the car even harder to resell as most your average buyers go for white, black, grey and red. The Lunar Blue on this car looks much better than I thought it would though so I think that would be a very salable color too.
