my dealership here in Florida finally received an E63S. Unfortunately it’s not mine. But at least it’s a good sign more should be arriving soon. Here’s a pic

 

Anyone else think the hood looks like it was cut out with a tin can opener? Looks so inelegant, as does that lower lip.

 

Thanks for the pic, I hate that the dealer has, possibly, drilled holes in that car.

 

I think the hood and the bumper look awesome, I really like the new look.

 

That is a HUGE bumper, a little fender bender and it will be quite the piece to replace. Hope we do not need to remove the bumper to replace a bulb in the headlight

 

I wonder if the VPC installed that. Florida has no front plate law so I'm surprised that the dealer installed that bracket.

 

They don't come from the VPC like that..

It’s a European delivery. That’s why it has that front license plate.

 

so far, to me, these cars only seem to look good in grey with black wheels.... something about it just doesnt look good in white and i usually love white cars

 

I think it might these picture angles, but I agree that some of the darker cars look bada$$. The ED1 is awesome in that matte black.

 

The problem with that car is that it is Diamond White. Diamond White is too yellow for my taste. Polar White is much crisper. Polar White with Silver forged wheels would be awesome.

 

I rarely see yellow in my Diamond or my past SL63 but Polar White is probably my next white Benz (had a the E63 Wagon and sedan) as its just bright in the Cali sun LOL.

Up here in the Great White North, we CANNOT order sport seats and distronic. It’s not possible. Yet I sat in an Edition 1 with both up here last week in Toronto. Wtf???

I got the standard wheels because I have some 21 inch HRE's coming soon =)

 

Apparently my E63S has made it to Alberta according to my SA. Should be here at the dealership in Edmonton next week. Getting a little more excited again considering what a let down it has been waiting for it while it sat in port since early May.

 

It will be worth the wait!!

 

Pics look fine to me. I have a question about the performance seats and the shoulder harness slots in it. The Design 1 has the metal pieces in black, and I prefer that, but don't want to order a Design 1. If you have a chance to take a close look at them, are you able to tell if they might be removable so they could be colored black in some way?

 

I hoping so! Just received another call confirming that it will arrive next week. They believe Wednesday or Thursday but if it arrives Friday, they will not be able to pdi it until after the weekend.

 

Awwwwwww, I see said the blind man. Those will be nice!

 

Which HRE's and what color if i may ask. Looks great!!!

 

I went to Schumacher in Scottsdale to see my first E63 S. They were delivering a matte grey with the night package. I have to admit I was a bit underwhelmed by the overall presence of the car. Outside of the front grill, the car looked very common and somewhat boring looking. I am still waiting to get mine, however this let most of the steam out of my anticipation unfortunately.
