Porsche website quotes Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid as 3.2s 0-60. But base cost is much higher, $184k vs $104k for E63S.
Maybe we need a new metric to evaluate cars - "$ per sec 0-60". In this case, $104k / 3.2 vs $184 / 3.2.
Yeah there's no doubt that the E63S is a relative bargain. I think the wagon even more so than the sedan.
That said, and even though I have an E63S wagon on order, money no object I'd have ordered a Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid in Sport Turismo (their wagon-ish variant). That thing is just crazy looking IMO though its hauling capacity is lower than the E's!
I watched the e hybrid turbo S video, and that car weights a ridiculous amount.. Honestly I'm not a big 0-60 fan.. And the new e63 did 4 seconds faster around Vir, same day same track.

I love electric car launches and 0-60, but after that the weight and loss of that initial thrust wear off

I don't think OT as all these performance metrics taken together make up the whole of the experience. But that said, I do believe the Turbo S e-hybrid Panamera is going to outperform the E63S. I still ordered the E63S

I am a huge wagon nerd.. Would love an e63 wagon.. They really hold value too.
I do also like the panamera sport turismo (a wagon by any other name right?)
I'd love a fast all wheel drive wagon that can also have ev capabilities for zero gas for around town..
