Did anybody order Piedmont green? I think it will look good and little bit different than another cars.

 

Is this this kind of green ?

 

not sure. E400 wagon has the same option of Piedmont Green as AMG and it looks much darker than your example of E300.. Current E400 coupe has option of 'Emerald Green' and it looks like your video.

 

I have seen a Piedmont green E300 at my local dealer. In some light it looks almost black. In direct sun it is definitely a very nice green.

 

good idea to find piedmont green car on the lot . If I'm ordering custom config I want car to my taste and i like dark green/nut leather combo idea (remind me some of my old cars....)

 

I agree the car in the video is emerald green. If the AMG had offered this color I would have got it with the nut brown leather interior. The Piedmont green is much darker and I thought a little dreary looking, I was going to get it in that color until I really started looking at it closely. I decided on the Cardinal Red at that time.

 

Here's a picture of a piedmont green E400 Wagon, I felt especially with the AMG it just would not have enough bling.

I agree. I wish there had been more colors and like you had it been British racing green with my nut brown int I would have gone with that over my cardinal red. Although I am really liking the red. The main thing that worries me with the red is it’s probably more likely to get vandalized because it kinda sticks out. If they had offered the brilliant blue I would thought about that too. It was on the original dog but then removed.

 

I have had Grey, black, white cars and was tired of it...went with the Canvasite blue...She arrived yesterday, full 3m, E coupe vents, Tint, and blacked out grille before I pick up Friday..

 

Nice color. I would have gone with that if the offered that in the USA. Pretty sure that’s the same as brilliant blue which they we’re gonna offer but pulled it off the list in the USA. They do offer lunar blue but it’s not as bright.

 

There are so many shades with this color, When it was being dropped off it was a deep navy, at night its almost black...It looks more blue under the dealers detail lights.

Id think Lunar Blue Metallic would be the same

I think your right they are the same color. Darn maybe I shoulda gone with the lunar blue. Looks good. The red attracts almost too much attention.

Lunar Blue on E63 looks almost black unless its under direct sun light. I want more vibrant color! Will go next week to select my color but I may just go with DW after all.

 

I agree. When I went to check out the colors, under overcast skies, the lunar blue was nearly black except when seen from a direct reflection from light. I too wish there were more color choices

 

True about the the Lunar Blue, it does look great in the sun though. I wish they'd offered a Sand Beige Metallic I woulda gone with that for sure it would have looked great with my Nut Brown Interior. I should look into to seeing if they make a wrap something like this color, that way I could preserve the original red color too from the elements for a while. This Older SL is beautiful.

 

True story: I bought a black C450 last year from my dealer, did all the paperwork by email as I was out of town, the Salesman delivers a Lunar blue C450 to my office. He didn’t check the vin and thought it was the black car. Needless to say it took him about 10 minutes to realize that I was not joking when I asked him why he brought the wrong car!

 

i guess we all should get simplest plain white and wrap custom color after to show MB what colors we want!
