Green Hell Color
I went to my local MB dealer and they said I COULD get a 2018 e63s Wagon in the Green Hell color of the AMG GT-R
I stopped by MB of BH when I was in CA last week and they said no
Thoughts?
Thanks

I can't even begin to imagine what that would look like. Doesn't really suit the "brute in a suit" character of the E63, but it's really interesting to know it's possible.

You can order custom paint, but the cost is high: to option it $2500 + $12-13,000 for any historic or current color in the MB portfolio.
Need to wait and see what designo colors come out.

2019 E63S wagon; 2016 Landrover Landmark
I wish MB offered a more dynamic range of colors. Even Volvo has more appealing colors. I've been in black, silver, grey, white and I'm not sure I'm loving the idea of the Selenite gray magno matte, but it's the best color offered IMO. Why not get a blue like the RS lines get?? Or a more brilliant red?? Volvo had the "Flash Green" in 2003 when it released the new V70R... that was kinda cool with the right leather.

You CAN order an E63s Wagon in Green Hell. You could do a paint to sample order and choose Green Hell of the current palette. Could cause serious delay to an order and would be quite expensive but the final answer is yes, possible.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
Yes, anything too different on a order is probably gonna cause delays, thats why I was very careful with my order to keep it fairly basic and limit carbon fiber and that sort of thing. I really like my Cardinal Red but it does scare me that it's gonna get keyed or something. Going to a concert today, if I can't find a good safe parking spot I'm just not parking there, I try to avoid spots where lots of people are walking by, someone might decide to do some paint damage to the car because it looks so good. I'm anxious to get my plain jane S class back and drive that to any place where there are crowds of people. Sometimes your better off with more of a plain jane color for reasons I stated above, I nearly went with the Diamond White or the Selinite gray for these reasons.

Just take an Uber. If you're like me when it comes to parking where it's busy, you're not going to to enjoy the concert.

My guess is you can't.
The dealer who said you could was probably thinking that the Designo program lets you select a wide range of colors and this is probably one of them.
In practice, while Designo does offer a wide range of colors, some colors are reserved for specific models. It wouldn't surprise me if you can only get the Green Hell color on a GTR. Just like you can only get Designo Yosemite Blue on GTS OR GTC OR GTR which are successors of the AMG GT.

No I wasn’t referring to the designo program. Came from MBUSA. Any color current or historic. By the time you’re done it will be close to $15k, so will be very few takers.
