CCB Bedding question

CCB Bedding question

Always had steel rotors, first time CCB's. I didn't realized there is even a bedding procedure. Work has been really busy and apart from a couple quick fun runs it has been more or less speedy commutes only (200 some miles).
Brakes are very strong, no squeal but now I am wondering if I missed the boat on properly breaking in the brakes. Excuse my novice question but what are your thoughts/recommendation?

I think ya gotta take into consideration the added 2,000 lbs. the E63s is carrying around over the McLaren when bedding in the CCBs.

I went through the McLaren bedding process this afternoon and the beast with Castrol SRF brake fluid was up to the task but even with it the peddle started to get a little soft.
As it cooled off it was back to normal.
Be careful when you do this because the beast carries a lot of inertia and a soft peddle instils very little confidence..

By the way the car felt no better braking after the bed in process. I say just drive it like you stole it and skip this step, nothing gained..

SRF isn’t really meant for our cars...

Try Endless 650 or Motul. Then If you really want a hard brake pedal change the brake lines to stainless and put titanium backing plates behind your pads for better heat dissipation... AND drive it like you stole it... lol

Wow I'm impressed you have a crew that takes care of ALL of your cars, now that's special.

Castrol SRF wet boiling temp.= 270*C
Motul 660 wet boiling temp.= 204*C
Endless 650 wet boiling temp.= 218*C

Inform your crew, they need to up their game.
