Hello all,

i am new to MB as I have been a lifelong bmw fan especially the M division. I am interested in the e63 over the new m5 as my next car. I noticed on the MBUSA website, there is only an E63S available, will the regular E63 non S be available in the US? Thanks!

 

Honestly, my dude, I think it's not even worth looking at the E63 over the E63S. The extra little makes a fair bit of difference. No one has even gone to review the standard E63. The extra puts you up on HP, Hydraulic Engine Mounts, Electronic LSD at the back.. It's just worth the extra imo.

 

only E63 S for NA. (at least for now)

 

Thank you guys for the feedback! Yea I’ve been reading the non S is not even worth it because the S gives you so much more in terms of value.

 

I think it depends on the price difference. The regular E63 is also a very fast car!

With the AMG GTS, the standard AMG GT came out a year later in the US market. So there is a possibility that could happen in the US. It would probably be better for resale value if they did not do that.

 

I checked the price difference here in Norway..
The price difference without options is 105000 NOK (USD 12533)
With most of the same options as the E63 S the price difference drops to 70000 NOK (USD 8355)

Easy choice to me.. The price difference is even less for me as I'm not required to pay any taxes on the car due to living in Norways only tax-free island.
