2019 Mercedes E63s
I got lucky and found it on the lot with the exact options/color combo I wanted, only a few hours away. I was going to build but afraid of being in the same scenario your in now.

agree on the black ash wood. the best interior trim on the E63S. all others are way to shiny. shiny interiors and touch screens are a plague. the way to go with carbon fibre is the "new one" shown in the new C63S. matte carbon fibre.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
These are 21's also....
9.5 x21 F, 11x21 rear....they do look great, but don't ride as smooth as the 20's...but hey, sometimes you just gots to step up!

That looks goooood!!! I can’t wait for my build to finish. Picking up my wagon in Germany in Oct. I think I might bring the lowering module with me! 😜

Back to the States after two week vacation. Happy to pick up the car. She’s had a full front clear bra, they did the bumper in one piece!! A ceramic coat. And a 50% tint. Still at 600 miles. Itching for more seat time to get through the break in. Summer wheel/tire set goes on Monday.
I’m impatiently waiting for my wagon to be built for European delivery. Just realized I’ll have to do the break in in Germany - that will be hard on the autobahn! Is it 1000 miles not to go above 4K RPM?

I broke mine in using the 1500 km value in the manual since that's considerably shorter than 1000 miles. Whoever wrote their manuals weren't too good at unit conversions . . .
The upper limit is 140 km/h as I recall, which is about 85 mi/h. Don't remember the RPM limit. They also didn't want you to leave Comfort mode.
You can do 140 km/h OK on the autobahn without getting your doors blown off, just don't tarry very long in the left lane.
We did a lot of highway driving from place to place and tried not to use the autobahn too much during the breaking in period. More to see on the highways and the speed gets varied a lot more which is better for breaking in any way. Also, not quite as tempting to put your foot in it as it is on the autobahn when it opens up.
We used the Distronic automagic speed limit adoption feature pretty much whenever we were on a highway. Saved our bacon several times as many times we didn't see the speed limit change but the car did. I did get nabbed by one speed camera going through a section of road just outside of a town. Ticket arrived in the mail a while after we got home. All of 18 Euros for doing 32 or 34 km/h in a 30 km/h zone - again, we didn't see the sign changing the speed but did see the flash of the camera.
We packed our itinerary fairly full and did a lot of driving but it still took a full week and a couple of days to get to the 1500 km mark.
Really it wasn't that hard to wait, and it did give us time to get accustomed to the car and how it drove and handled before opening it up at full song on the autobahn. Last night on the way home to Stuttgart from Munich we did manage to hit 170 mi/h briefly before I backed out of it. Car was still pulling hard and felt like it had more left in it.

I think it was 4,500 RPM and yes 1,500 km is more like 930 miles. I can imagine 85 mph feeling very slow on the autobahn. Good luck!

I completed the break-in on day four.
Picked up the car Friday with 20 miles on the clock, and drove out of the Center of Excellence at 2PM and headed south to Finale Ligure. Did some site seeing on Saturday and then headed out Sunday morning to Orvieto. Got up Monday morning and headed out to Sorrento were we are now. Before we made it to Sorrento we hit the 1500 km mark. I have not been able to get up to speed yet but finally got it in Sport + yesterday and jumped onto the highway just to hear the exhaust it all its glory! I hit rush hour traffic so couldn't stretch her legs.
I decided to drop car back off in Stuttgart to make sure i had enough time to get it on the Autobahn. So on Friday we head north stopping a few days in Lake Como, hopefully a drive on the Stelvio pass(may not be open) and then back to Stuttgart.
