Love it - though sorry you had a tough time getting home after a long shift.
When I lived back East in Fairfax, VA, my ham radio club used to volunteer drivers and a dispatcher for the local hospitals. Those of us with 4WD vehicles would go pick up doctors and nurses and ferry them to/from the hospital. This freed up ambulances and other emergency services vehicles to deal with patients.
Loved it when we got a big storm overnight and drivers who shouldn't be out on the roads in vehicles not equipped to deal with the conditions were stuck at home and not clogging up the streets. Also, a lot of inexperienced drivers in the Northern VA/DC area who are transplants that are clueless about driving in snow, plus rarely will other drivers get out to help each other when someone is stuck in front of them - they just honk.
Grew up in Nebraska and it wasn't uncommon to get big dumps of snow like this and I'm sure you're no stranger to it in MN - just got caught out by the timing.
There were times when those of us who had snowmobiles would have to make supply runs for my neighborhood which was some distance from nearest stores at the time because the huge drifts we would get were impassable by even 4WD vehicles. Would take several days sometimes for snow plows to reach us.
I miss those days, but I was a lot younger then. Not too many snow days in San Diego. Have to drive to nearby mountains to get into any snow.

Wish it was me getting all that snow!
If the amount of snow is to much for cars, I will just use one of my snowmobiles

It was 23” in less than a day with deeper drifts. Worse blizzard we’ve had in almost 30 years. I got stuck at the hospital since they pulled the plows and the roads weren’t driveable. Monday morning I was done for the week, and really needed to get home, my neighbor is another doc at the hospital snowshoed a mile, I picked him drive to a grocery store parking lot, swapped seats and took his snowshoes, he dropped me off at the road that leads to our development and he drove my car to work. It was atrocious.
I drove the SUV to work, had to raise the air suspension and turn off traction control just to get out of my ally.
Tracks when I left for work...
Two hours later...
My front porch!
That’s a snowblowed side walk, with the road to the right.
At the end of a snowshoe trek, dying from lack of sleep and cold but almost home. The road to my neighborhood is seen.

I think he's referring to the light bleed on the edge of the screen. LCD screens are often prone to this issue, particularly noticeable in dark environments and when displaying black content.
It's hard to tell from the picture if it's actually light bleed or just a reflection - however, as far as I know, Vic sold his car a long time ago.

Personally not a fan of SUV's but we catch ourselves needing a large car for hauling things, so probably a SUV next or maybe something fun and completely unpractical

No kids here so that makes choosing a car much easier. We have the AMG GTC roadster for the summer and will keep the E63s for only a couple of months longer. This car has been fantastic for MN winters!
