I know you are looking to order another and perhaps move on from this car, but just curious what needed to be fixed this time? Also, I hope this car doesn't give you anymore issues, you've had enough of them with this one.

Well its a long list but mainly:
- Replace ESP control module
- Replace Hydraulic unit for ESP
- Bleed brakes
- They also found an error in the flexray system wiring and had to repair..

Wow, you have not had the best luck with your car! Hope you get a replacement. BTW, I see you're running your tire pressures a bit lower than recommended. Is that to reduce road noise or soften the ride?

Sometimes these errors are timing related. When certain modules are suppose to report out on the bus, if a response is not generated (or late) then the system could flag the error. Complex machinery to say the least. Hence, the software updates... correct issues as they become more apparent.

That is almost exactly what my tires were set to when I picked up the car from the Mercedes factory in Sindelfingen.
Figured they know what they're doing . . .
We were pleasantly surprised with the ride quality given some comments on the forum and in the press. Maybe it was the German roads, but we did not find the ride harsh.

Mine was set to 44 psi front and about 40 rear at time of delivery. I thought the ride was a little firm but not abusive. My disappointment was having a lot of tire road noise so I lowered the tire pressure to 39 psi front and 36 rear. This helped but it still seems a bit noisy (I even have the Acoustic comfort package). I'll try 36 front and 33 rear. BTW, this is for daily driving. I think 44 front and 40 rear would be good for track or aggressive driving.

All I know is that the Mercedes factory delivered the car with them set in the 38/34 PSI range and on cold mornings they were down as low as 32. The car seemed fine for normal in town and highway driving.

Guys use the directions on the inside of the gas cap--- light laden and speeds under 155 is 41/33 so I cut the front just a bit more cause I want to and think 39/33 is about right.
My OP of course.

Just got back in town from a work trip and look what arrived today. Love the color of this car and need to black out the grille, tint the windows and XPEL the car. The car looks so good and drives awesome. These are not the best pictures but it’s a start.
