Pre safe inoperative message on screen

Pre safe inoperative message on screen
Just out of warranty ! Started car tonight and " pre safe inoperative " message on the screen. Seems to drive fine but the message wont go away. As I live in the country here in North Queensland Australia it is an hours drive to my nearest dealership. And it's just out of warranty ( 2014 model ) . Can I get a guidance here as the local dealer is not necessarily up to date. Thanks

usually this is temporary warning but occasionally may require you to bring it in

I had it on my 13' E63 a few times. Dealer told me sometimes when it comes on for no reason the battery is getting low and it throws the pre safe message. I would check battery voltage just in case you are on the verge of needing a new battery.

Regurgitated crap from dealers from some book. I was told the same thing several times, two brand new batteries later it still comes on still on occasion. Goes away on its own though
