Engineering mode?
Anyone know how to access engineering mode? I tried one approach I found online - going to settings and holding down main round button for ten seconds, but that didn’t seem to work....

Allegedly needs to be enabled by a dealer (or someone with the proprietary MB diagnostic tools). Can be done, but doesn't seem like just a casual "oh, can you enable that" type of thing. Sounded more like a "need to be a friend of the mechanic" type of thing.

I'm familiar with enabling "Service mode" but that doesn't look anywhere near as rich as this "Engineering mode" so I'm assuming they're not remotely the same thing.

I have been search for a way to deactive the engine /exhaust noise coming from my amplified and upgraded speakers. Hoping engineering mode would have switch...
