RTS vs RTP wheels - What's the difference?

Hey guys,

I placed an order for a MY18 E63 AMG S last week; and during the process, there were 2 options my SA had when selecting the matte black wheels
1. RTP
2. RTS - AMG Cross-Spoke Forged Wheels

On his screen, these two options looked exactly the same, so we selected RTS option as it also stated Edition 1 in the description. But anyone know the difference?

Also, does anyone know how or when P Zeros come as OEM tires, instead of the MPS4S? I have seen a few pictures online where car is fitted with the matte black cross-spoke wheels and P Zero tires instead of the superior MPS4S tires.

I don’t recall on the wheels.

As for the tires, I think it the luck of the draw. In my case I got the P Zero.

i have the same wheels as the Edition 1 I believe, RTS or RTR, whatever the black forged wheels are. Boarding a flight in a couple minutes or I’d look it up. My build sheet is in the North American deliveries thread somewhere.

I will stick with RTS, but really, tires ... luck of the draw?

Thanks!

Yep whatever is in stock when they need to mount the rims. My ED1 has Pzeros but before I took delivery the right rear got punctured in the lot by a large piece of metal. They offered me a new PZero tire but would have to wait a few days or they said they swap the same black forged wheels off a white car and I could take delivery right then and there. The bonus, I got PS4S's

Oh they confirmed the wheel part #s too.

RTP wheels are not forged and has different design from the RTS. The RTP does have black accent finish though.

The P Zero and P Zero PZ4 are great tires but from my experience, the Michelins provide better grip under similar wet/dry conditions. Although this is very subjective, I am sure many on this forum agree with my opinion.
