Same. I am just careful to use a soap with no added shine inside. That and my CR Spotless water filter to help remove the hard stuff that causes water spots.
Use pressure washer to rinse, then foam canon, then wash mitt rinsed frequently, then final rinse and dry.
Just soap and water and then bug/tar remover for the tough stuff...

Thanks guys. Have you done Xpel? Know they have a flat product that supposedly blends and does not add any sheen. I have a wagon coming in same color as ronin amg and will need to look into paint protection

I did my entire GTS and the nose and rocker of the wagon with Expel clear satin..
I talked with the Protective Film Solutions guys at the Huntington Beach Copters and Coffee event yesterday. They said that there is a film that blends in well with the Magno finish on the E63 - probably the same one that Ronin used. Can't remember if they said it was Stealth or something else.
They suggested I stop by and have them show me a sample on the car. Said it would essentially vanish and I wouldn't see it.
Mainly I'm interested in doing the front bumper area and rocker panels, but no so much the rest of the car. Think they said that would be $2300 or $2700, something like that.
Funny that everyone is saying that the matte finish requires so much more work. One of the first things that the Mercedes tech said in Germany when he was showing me the car was essentially "You're going to love this paint. It's really easy to take care of, just wash and dry, no waxes or anything, that's it. Very durable."
So far that's been the case. Also, the Grey Mangno seems to hide dust and dirt fairly well too

I will talk to my detailing guy and ask for clear flim that won't take away from this great paint. I heart same thing regarding flat paint being easy and painless to maintain
i almost have the exact same wagon on order (CCB + 5-spoke -- except with gloss selenite paint), and i have to say that yours was a huge inspiration. keep the videos and photos coming!
Really nice. I'd love to have a matching GTS or even better a GTR to my grey magno E63S. I'm thinking the kids don't really need to go to college that badly, right? . . .
