Ronin, I have a Cardinal Red MY19 E63s and everyone loves the color—I wasn’t sure when I ordered it but absolutely love it now. Seeing the pics of your GLC 63s makes me a bit jealous—beautiful car. I just purchased a My18 GLC 63 (non-S because I wanted the SUV body style). My GLC 63 is white with the full exterior carbon fiber (including full carbon fiber spoiler) and night package so it is a hot looking car but absolutely love the color on yours. Was looking for one in Cardinal Red but couldn’t find one that was fully optioned. My GLC was a Mercedes corporate car with 4,000 miles, fully loaded and in perfect condition. So far I love it with one very very minor exception that many on the GLC 63 board and the press reviewing the car have mentioned—if leaving from a stop light under light throttle the transmission occasionally does this early clunky upshift- it is not a smooth transition into the next gear and the car feels like it is bucking—It never does it under mid to full throttle and does not do it all the time. It happens less after the car is warmed up and you start to learn how to finesse the throttle a bit to avoid it. Many have claimed it is due to the throttle mapping that Mercedes uses in their AMG GLCs. GLC 43 owners have the same issue. Three questions—1. did your car ever exhibit this behavior and if so did the pedal box take care of the problem, 2. do you know it they make a pedal box for the non-S GLC63, and 3. while I have never experienced any such issue with my E63s, have you installed one on your wagon?

I did notice a little hesitation or bucking when leaving a stop slowly in auto as it changes up a gear but I rarely drive in auto so I can live with it, occasionally my wagon does the same if left in comfort / auto.
I guess it's just the programing of the 9 speed transmission from the factory.
I took the pedal box out of my E63s wagon so they are interchangeable and just plug and play, it's a real simple install. Check out the website I posted above.
You just remove the two plastic nuts holding the pedal in place to gain access to the plugs and bridge the pedal box in-between .
Honestly the pedal box wakes the car right up and removes the thought of voiding your warrantee for the same feeling.
Enjoy your new ride, I'm already enjoying mine knowing that I can pull off the road into the dirt and take some quick pictures without worrying about ripping off carbon fiber splitters..
I'm glad I set my wagon up as a canyon carver and I couldn't be happier knowing that I got rid of my GTS for an even more fun GLC 63s coupe in the canyons..

I ordered my Pedalbox yesterday. Should have it by the end of the week. I'll report on my experience. Thanks for the advice.
I watched him and his bike fly through the air and then hit the ground right in front of me, this all happened in the blink of an eye. I couldn't believe we didn't make hard contact.
ABS, quick steering correction and pure luck saved the day...
I was driving home from work one day on a very busy freeway (80mph and lots of traffic). A guy on a street bike merges in from the entrance ramp and starts working his way over towards the car pool lane. I'm in the #2 lane. He's in front of me and a couple harleys go by in the car pool lane and he takes a look at them. At that time traffic slowed down suddenly ahead. He hit his brakes and immediately dropped it. I don't tailgate and that saved his life. He came to a stop on his hands and knees in the car pool lane looking at the incoming traffic to see who was going to kill him. I could see his eyes. He was lucky as the lane just happened to be clear. Fortunately he was smart enough to be wearing full protective gear. All it takes is just a second of inattention. He walked away but only because he got lucky twice in a row.
The main reason I gave up riding, wondering if this will be the day..
I still love them but I love life too much to continue riding..

Had this mishap happened another time the outcome might have been different for the rider.
Be extra careful if you do any roadside exploration, Fire Ants are almost everywhere.
These suckers cut my day short with their extremely painful sting that can't be ignored..
That’s how I got paralyzed 1981 on a 6 cyl Honda CBX. Didn’t make a corner going too fast and ended up in a stone wall on my back. Broke one little bone and T4 paraplegic since.
I stopped racing when my kids were born. Did track days for another few years and continued Sunday morning Palomar Mt rides for a bit till switching over to dirt / dualsport riding.
Sold all my sport bikes and track bikes but still have a KTM EXC-500 and KTM 1190R that are licensed for the road, but don't really ride them on the road much. Also have a GasGas TXT-300 trials bike which is a lot of fun.
Be extra careful out there this weekend, with the beaches now closed more people will be driving into the mountains for a bit of cool air.
Ya just don't it to be the prop wash off this sucker..
So I put some snow tires on the AMG GLC 63s and now there is zero chance for snow / rain in So. Cal.in the forecast.
I decided to put a new set of summer shoes on for the time being... P4S.. 275/40/20 front 315/35/20 rear...
I like the style of wheels I put on the wagon enough to do another set..
