OEM Rim Delay

Hey guys just wanted to make yall guys aware of something and ask a question. First I got wheel and tire protection on my car because I live in Louisiana and the roads down here have to be some of the worst in the country. Despite all efforts I hit a pot hole about 3 and a half weeks back that resulted in needing a new rim and tire. I'm thinking not a big deal I have had rim and tire on other cars I know the process just bring it in which leads me to my first question. Have any of you had issues with dealerships stocking tires for the 63? I have gone to two separate dealerships only to find out that they would have to order the tire. I'm guessing this is because they don't have many of them on the roads here but still stocking a set I feel wouldn't be the worst thing in the world but I digress. When the tire got here they put it on and sent the rim to rim repair only to find out it isn't able to be fixed and they would have to order another rim from Germany. That was a little over two weeks ago and still no rim. Is 3 weeks normal for a replacement rim to come in? I feel like I'm getting withdrawals not having my car. They did give me a courtesy vehicle which was nice but a c300 just isn't the same. While it has been there I was able to get the windows tinted let me know what you think.

I suffered a damaged tire about 10 days ago due to a pothole I didn't see at night. I had car flat bedded to dealership. Dealer didn't have the tire in stock, but they ordered a new tire in the morning, which arrived and was fitted the next day and I was good to go. Only one day of downtime.

I was lucky though that my rim was okay. I'm not surprised the rim is out of stock, but I would ask them if they can't supply a loaner rim until the matching rim arrives.

Also there is a company on eBay that has the rim in stock if you need it faster.

They stole my C450 wheels off of my daily driver out of one of my garages in a building I have. It took them 6 weeks to get made and sent to the USA from Germany because there was 0 in stock in the USA as parts even though that car was made in the USA... Their supply chain on parts is way off.
