I'm on the other coast but I can assure you the 2018 is a much better car than the 2012 was. It is much more racy and handles much better, sounds better, drives better, everything. I had a 2012 for 4 years. While the 2012 seemed a little less tight as far as getting in and out, thats about the only advantage the 2012 had as far as I can see. I'm sure a local dealer would be glad to show you a 2018 and go over the car with you.
