E63S Wagon chassis rigidity
Can someone comment on how stiff the chassis is? I’m not referring to how stiff the ride is, to be clear. I’m talking about whether the body flexs when going over certain types of pavement.
I have a W204 C63 507 coupe which I consider rock solid. Thinking about selling it for the E63 Wagon. I drove a GLC300 for a while, which uses the E chassis, and was not at all impressed by the rigidity. My wife’s B250 is way stiffer.

My C63 507 is firm! I love it; but my family not so much

It's FIRM and STIFF. Feel a lot more of the bumps in S+ vs C. Also, I do have minor squeaks and rattles - and from a spot of Googling, that's not uncommon. Personally, I think the car is too firm for a family wagon. Would never take it across country with the family - take the SUV for that. It's a great car, but the build quality isn't up to par with a prior Merc I owned, and Merc is clearly still trying to figure out the electronics. I had the electronic something-or-rather diff fail at 400 miles, and just yesterday has a momentary electronic failure of brake assist, lane assist and a bunch of other things that "self-corrected" while driving. Frankly, I think the build quality is sloppy for a $100K+ car. But it is stiff - so if that's your primary criteria you'll be well served.
P.S. Am taking the family on a 1,400 mile trip next week. Wouldn't trust the Merc to get there incident free. Too many teething pains.

Thanks, very helpful.
I agree that some things on this generation of E Class don’t feel that well made. Example: the doors feel thin and flex quite a bit when you squeeze the panels (window down, hand compressing outer and inner door panels). Certainly the W204 feels more solid.
Im hesitatant to sell my C63 507 Coupe for the new E63S Wagon for these reasons, and what you wrote above...
