BAAAAAAAAAACK
It has been a long time, and this new E63 Wagon has me inspired to jump back into an MB. It seems like the PERFECT ride for this old man.
I have missed you guys and hope everyone is still alive and well!

This new 63 is a dream for so many reasons
my helmet has gathered much dust, but my heart still beats and picturing me driving this , makes that ole heart speed up and the smiles return

In my area we’re seeing about $9/gal for MS-109.

Yep, I have the older TT 5.5L with the 7spd and the software encryption is holding any hardware after stage 1 back. Yes, shifts are quick but MB pulls a lot of power during the shifts so except on paper, their bragging about how quick it is becomes meaningless. By most accounts I’ve read, the 9sp seems a bit improved but 60ft times have been telling a different story and are (so far) just as dismal as the 7spd. Both models trap high and should be et’ing much lower but the trans is holding them back at launch and through the first few gear shifts.

And btw, if you want a street and race fuel tune, you’ll need two ECUs on these cars. Tuning is pretty limited compared to anything else on planet Earth!
