They just pushed back '19 G-wagen builds a month due to the screen shortage. Their supplier had trouble meeting demand for the E-Class and S-Class alone last year. Now they've got the G, CLS, GT 4-Door, etc. now using the same screens. So they had trouble meeting demand when they were only used in two product lines and now offer them in 5+. I'd be willing to put money down the company didn't magically find a way to not only meet their existing demand but at least doubling it.

None of our E63s or G-Wagons have been pushed back. All have kept the same production date originally assigned.
I think they mean on E300/450. Restrained as a stand alone option.

BMW 550i M- Sport; '19 E63s or '19 M5??
One dealer just called me today and indicated that he horsepower on the 2019 E63S had been increased to 630 horsepower! This would be the same as the GT. This seems to be too good too be true but would be a nice perk for Mercedes

Doubtful. Sounds more like a dealer assuming they want horsepower parity with the GT...which they don’t, they want the GT to have more.

I was given a date of 6/3d/18 two months ago and that was re-confirmed to me three weeks ago. Haven't gotten an updated confirmation yet. I was also told that the car would deliver 30 days later, showing up at the local Herb Chambers dealership by the end of July.
I ordered a blue e63s wagon with brown leather, debadged.

Any update from MBUSA on if these 2019s will be released from port upon arrival? Or will they be holding them for broad release at a later date, like September?
#16
I just asked my dealer this question, and he has no information about release dates, just "fall 2018" for some models and "late 2018" for others, whatever that means.

If I were betting I'd put money on holding them until there's at least a critical mass of 2019's ready to hit dealers all at once.

2019 E 450, 2016 E350 4matic (retired), 2018 Ford Edge Sport, 2008 Porsche Boxster
The lease on my 2016 E350 4matic ends in December and I want to replace it with a 2019 E450 with the Luxury package.
I have gone over the DOG for 2019 and compared it to the pricing for the 2018 E400 4matic.
Here is what I notice are the biggest differences in the option package, which I would like someone to confirm:
2018 E400 4matic:
· Premium Package 3 $10,200 contains:
These four (4) options are now “stand alone” options for 2019.
On the 2019 E450 I believe all of the other options contained in the Premium Package 3 are in the following packages:
Finally, I have the parking assist (self-parking) on my wife’s Ford Edge Sport and I have used it only once in three years (my wife has never used it). If I can parallel park, do I need the parking assistance package (996)?
Thanks!
