I think the computer generates a dealer arrival for every car, but the system is completely oblivious to delays, holds, etc. For instance mine had an original dealer delivery date in February but arrived the first week in May. It's just when the car should arrive based on production.

Really? I’ve been getting screen caps from my US dealer—dealer ETA has always been blank. |
Valiant Ace seems to be parked outside of Costa Rica for the past few days. :wall:

Maybe that's how they avoid overcrowding at the VPC.

its just chilling.. haha.. which port is your car heading to? It’s not expected to reach Long Beach until August 29th. |
Well MB doesn’t control the timing of when the ship arrives.. that’s all by the shipping company.. delays are common.. it’s all approx.. sometimes they come the exact scheduled time frame from the time it leaves Germany and other times it’s a few days earlier or a few weeks later. Its just because we all order cars so we want it as fast as possible.. but the fact we won’t get the cars to mid Sept thru mid Oct you will be just fine timing wise. mine has been at the Long Beach VPC since August 6th... nothing I can do about it besides wait until someone at MB feels like they are ready to release it to my dealer which is about 30 min away from the port... hopefully it’s before Oct |

Dang it... more SUV’s approved by CARB today. GLE and GLS. No E-Class of any kind yet. |

Long Beach. Originally scheduled to arrive August 17, then 23, and now I guess 29? Sounds like intentional delay knowing they will not be released once they arrive.

A colleague said she's having engine difficulties. There are thousands of cars on this ship and not just Daimler products. The ship isn't being intentionally delayed.
