How Many Past 10k Miles With No Issues
Hi All,
As was mentioned in another thread, it seems that we only hear about the E63s sedan or wagon that has had or is having issues. So, I thought I'd start a thread for those of you who have had no issues or at least nothing major and have accumulated over 10k miles. I don't qualify as I have just surpassed 520 miles but I'm driving it as much as possible. I did have the carbon fiber trim on the left fender replaced due to broken pins but other than that, it's been fine. I'd love to hear from you. I think it may relieve some of the concerns those of us with low mileage cars may have.

no mechanical issues (major), like the mentioned CEL
ecu software updated in March 2018 (uncertain whether the update is for tranny ? Engine performance? Or just general ?)
Do have ongoing wacky issues here and there , more on the electronic side

No real issues and I'm about to hit 10000 miles within a month. Runs and Drives Great. Although I take that back, just one thing I do notice a very faint antifreeze smell when I get out of the car after driving it, been that way since new. Overflow tanks not dropping, right on the line. Had brought it to the dealer and did a visual inspection and pressure tested the cooling system and they could not find anything. My theory has been a very slight leak from the thin lines that cool the ECU and it's getting in there onto a hot engine, like maybe a drop every hour or something like that. I guess the only way to check for that would be to pull the ECU.
