Any love for the Nut Brown or Mocciatto Nappa leather? Local dealer had 7 AMG's all with black leather. My paint choice is leaning toward Selenite or Iridium Silver. Any E43/63 AMG's with these interiors? Comments? Thanks
My E63s wagon is on order with Selenite Grey and Nut Brown interior. Saw pics on internet that looked really sharp. Could not find a real car to look at.
Ditto. With night exterior pkg and carbon fiber interior. Saw a bunch of pictures and think this combo looks great.
Plus have kids so lighter interiors are too risky.

Note I'm also considering putting my lease up for assumption (well, it's already up but I've not received the right offer so far) since I'm itching to build a custom M5 CP but don't really want two super-sedans (and the wife doesn't like either--WTF!). See here for the lease ad.

What trim did you spec with your Nut Wood? Dealers cars had black natural wood or Carbon Fibre. Have not seen metal weave or Alum trim in person. Thanks

I test drove a Obsodian Black MY18 with nut brown and black flowing lines. It was very nice.

It's a tough choice. Ideally you want saddle brown which is in between.
If you get Macchiato - get it with the black headliner instead of the macchiato headliner. That will give it a balance of darkness and lightness in the cabin and make the macchiato pop more.

Machiatto looks sharp! Agree on the black headliner. I just checked the 2019 DOG and black headliner is standard with E53 and Beige or Black headliner is a choice on the E63.
BTW...I noticed the seat backs are black on the E53 vs Beige on the E63. Did you have a choice of seat back color when you order your car?
When I was ordering, I could not find any adequate photos of the Macchiato as well. In photos, I don't think it captures how nice it looks in person. It often looks much whiter to me in photos. Also, if your only live view example is from a lower e-class without the nappa, it doesn't look as good to me.

LOVELY! I'm getting an 2019 E53 so I'm not sure if the lighter headliner is available. I think the black headliner is standard for the E53AMG. The 2019 DOG shows black seat backs which plays off the black headliner in the E53. I'm planning my visit to the dealer next week...hope he has more info. Still, my dilemma...Nut Brown or Macchiato, hmm. Not being able to see these colors in Nappa leather in AMGs makes it tough. The remaining 2018 E classes on dealer lots are either MBTEX or non-AMG models, or if AMG, they're all black. Still, your recent photo really makes a compelling case for the Macchiato. Thanks

I'm on the fence to be honest. It costs me nothing to leave the car listed and, if I get a bite that's not asking for some ridiculous incentive, I'll probably take it. And to be clear, that's absolutely no reflection on the car--I love it--but I'm also fickle and can't wait for whatever's next. I also expect the tuning potential of the M5 to quickly exceed what we're currently seeing and, it seems, no amount of power will ever be enough.

This is one of my major peeves - dealers, pretty much regardless of brand, will pick boring interiors and bland colors. I specifically wanted a nut brown interior in my E63, it is a beautiful, rich, brown, not too dark, not too light. I would've preferred the macchiato but I have kids, so, erm, no!

I have personally seen Selenite Grey with Nut Brown and it's a great color combo. Same with the Grey and Beige.

Agreed!. I was going to get selenite magno / nut brown interior with black ash which I think would look amazing but I chickened out and got black on black for the interior.
