trapeze cut aluminum trim?
Small question:
Any love or regrets with trapeze cut aluminum trim? Looks modern and brightens up the interior a bit. Haven't seen one in person yet.
How is the Aluminum trim to live with. My concern is reflections in bright sunlight. NOT A BIG DEAL in the overall picture (E53/AMG) but just a minor point. In my wife's Lexus, the dash aluminum trim reflects into the driver's side mirror around midday...annoying to say the least (see pic).
Still leaning towards the metal weave on a new E53 order...but I just wonder about the standard Aluminum Trim.

Not a fan of Aluminum Trim myself, I really like my flowing lined Magnolia trim wood, no reflections with that. I don't think that is offered for the 2019's, just the black flowing lined wood which looks good too. Cant go wrong with that in my opinion.

Interior color?
I'm glad to hear there's no reflection. I think the Dark flowing lines would look good against Machiatto. What color leather did you choose with your Magnolia? Thanks

I've got the Nut Brown, actually the black flowing lined might even look better with my brown int as with the Magnolia the brown in my car is a little overwhelming sometimes. One reason I decided to go with black floor mats vs. the brown ones.

Has anyone paint their side step black? the full step i mean, because it's silver and really sticks out in my all black. it would be nice for it to be black as well but not sure if paint would hold.
