A reputable and honest dealer will honor a verbal agreement for MSRP but without written proof of agreed upon price before delivery, a dealer can write whatever price they want on the deal sheet when it shows up since it's your word against theirs. I doubt your dealer would do that, but there are some that would. It's more common with domestic brand dealers with limited production cars.

Your car will most likely sit at the vpc for a month+. Mine has been sitting there since 8/23 with no signs of them releasing it any time soon

There’s got to be something else holding the car at VPC. If it’s a sold car, and waivers have been signed, it should ship. Not really sure about anything else that could hold it up. Im betting it will show up soon.

They sit if its still going through the legal stuff, or if the docusign is incorrect in ANY fashion, exact name on docusign vs whats in netstar... exact vin etc..

That estimate still looks to be accurate, I wouldn't think sooner.. but you never know with the Alabama plant

Probably the seats? Seems like they were hard to come by for a while... one of the two options mine doesn't have that I wanted (CCBs being the other).

No, I didn't opt for the carbon fiber. Had I known how collectable this car was to become, I probably would have, ditto with the CCBs. Hopefully it came through with the seats. After 5 back operations I need all the help I can get!

Could anyone give me a rough timeline of when they think my car could get delivered per experience or knowledge? I have a build in at my local dealership (8/2021) and they said at the time April 2022. With house things are look I’m still 3rd in line for an actual build slot. My current E53 took about 6-7 months. But with all the shortages and delays wondering what realistically the time like would be.
