You can’t buy the music from tidal But you can download it. You can download the playlists you create or whole albums. That way you aren’t using all your data or managing poor cell service areas. Just a monthly fee for tidal.

I just took the cheap and lazy way to listen to music in my 2021 wagon since this vehicle isn't driven much, and my wife has Sirius in her vehicle. Since my last vehicle, a Porsche Macan had a CD player, I just played CDs (have a ton) in it and had no ripped music or music service. Since my wagon doesn't have a CD player, I thought I was going to spend years establishing a music library to load on SD cards just for the occasional drive. That wasn't going to happen, so I ended up purchasing a CD player that fits in the center console, and uses an USB plug inside the console. It loads just like factory and even works with the vehicle controls and displays on the right screen. My problem was solved for $125. Now I'm back to listening to my CDs again.

Technically, you’re not paying for each download. Same price whether you download 0 or 1000 songs. Just paying for monthly access. But either way you go it ain’t free.

Apologize in advance, but don't know the limits of the burmeister head unit.
i go to HD tracks (which I like). Choose the material. Ok. But which selection will play in my 213 with burmester upgrade? 24/96? Higher? If im only at 16 then I might as well just rip CDs. Where is the best Fi?
Sorry there are some Benz things I know lots about, but this is not one of them. Thanks if you can guide me...

Can’t beat asking Siri to play your favorite music while driving a car , Spotify works fine In the car with hi quality setting.

I use HDTracks as well. I pick the 96/24 FLAC option, and the music sounds great. I think it's a good compromise between lossless sound quality and file size. I probably have 100+ albums on my 32G SD card, although I think it's at max capacity already...
