How do i stop the beeping?!?

My wagon beeps incessantly and I can't figure out the exact cause/trigger. Am I missing something? Can anyone help? I love the car but hate all the nannies and find it extremely bothersome that they can't be turned off for good. Having to turn off brake assist each time I get in the car is a PIA, especially for short trips around town when you are getting in and out of the car often. Traction control engages too prematurely but that is an easy one to turn on/off with a push of the button on the center console. All-in-all a great car, but these issues have taken a lot out of the overall enjoyment. It's just not relaxing and enjoyable to drive when it is beeping at you all the time and you don't know what maneuvers will suddenly cause the brakes to engage. Tough thing to swallow for a high end performance car with 603hp and a $115k+ sticker.

My 2018 E63 sedan has never beeped. What ever it is can be defeated.

its the forward radar.. have to go in settings, driver assist options and turn off the brake assist (collision).. would turn off the emergency forward autonomous braking though

My brake assist is set on "Late". I would suggest that setting as it almost never issues a warning. The standard setting might beep a lot if you drive aggressively (I do fwiw).

Yes this can be the issue. OP, do you have a front license plate installed? I ask because after Euro delivery I had the German plate on my car. After a wash, the plate was bent about an inch away from the mount. That was all that needed to make the collision warning beep like crazy. Using a tow hook plate mount will cause the same issue.

I don’t have a issue with collision warning but the lane assist is way to sensitive and it beeps & brakes when you cross lines for good reason.
Wish you could have the lane assist go on at 60 mph and turn off the braking.

Can you disable it? Or is it like the Eco start/stop where it comes back on every time you start the car?

Yes it is switch on the left side. Turning it off though defeats the benefit just witch it was smarter.
