Yeah my GM got the email about an hour after I reached out to him. Everytime I asked him anything over the past 9 months he would always say.."You'll be the first to know" Heh I guess he was right as I knew before him.

Now, the 2019 S-Class DID get an improved Distronic...but it was just an update to parity with the E-Class' system, which is what all the new cars systems is based on, the DrivePilot system they still have but don't advertise because people thought it meant the E-Class was autonomous when they launched and had a ad about it driving itself. AMG engineer said there was no changes from 18 to 19 on the E-class, just that they changed the wording on how they describe the system and its features.

Got an email from the dealer confirming the E63S has been released. My car is at the Long Beach VPC and the dealer is located in Southern California. He stated I can come in next week to pick it up - hopefully that will be the case.

yup. That sounds exactly like my SA. The system may say one thing but he does not care until the car is at the dealership being dropped off.

Source is that I got the email in my inbox this morning, and yesterday morning. Standard 63 models of the C lineup launched yesterday, 63s models launched this morning alongside the E63S.
This email would only be received by dealership management - Sales Managers, GSMs, GMs, Dealer Principals, etc.
It's been sent this morning, perhaps just not looking in the right place.
Mine has been updated in Netstar to Z50 - PFD Set as of this morning.

Xmas just came early! Negotiated all season tires (in NY) paid for by dealer due to the 3 month wait. Now just have to get the tires from tire rack ( on back order ☹️) has anyone else negotiated any additional discount off purchase? Such as maintenance or tire discount

2024 AMG EQE SUV , 2021 E63S Wagon - gone, 2018 E63S Sedan - gone
There are improvements on the 19s over the 18s. Improved Distronic. Actually a lot better. The new steering wheel which is better. The seat position buttons. Use to have to hold them down on the memory buttons. Now just a push and release and the seat will go to memory setting. Should be improved sound from the base stereo. I don’t know what they did but my 2019 sounds a lot better than my 2018. I’m basing this info on my 2019 e450 wagon which should be the same as the amg with the things I’ve listed here. I’m actually enjoying my e450 more than I did my amg wagon. It does everything well. Just not as fast as the amg of course.

Nice! I had gotten a pretty good discount prior to the wait. 5% plus $3k in fleet, loyalty, amg private lounge discounts. Now throw in the tire deal@$1100 and I am feel that I got a pretty fair deal

I pretty sure if a 2018 E63 has the faster interface and updated LED color mood lighting that it also has any updates they had meant been to be present at launch. But even then, I think speed limit adaptation was the only change/update. It was mostly that they stopped making allusions to Drivepilot being a level 3 autonomous driving program.
