AMG Drivers Packagr RTS wheels
just a quick question to everyone. I’m in the process of placing an order for a 2019 E63S wagon, and had a question in regards to the AMG drivers package.
This is a Canadian car, so maybe fellow Canadians can chime in as I’m not sure if the US has the same options
my salesperson insists that the black RTS wheels are additional cost on top of the AMG drivers package. As far as I understand, once you pick the AMG drivers package, you have a choice of silver or black with no up charge for the black RTS wheels.
Am I wrong?

well, for MY2018 ... it's not additional cost at all. Dealer simply needs to check off the RTS wheel when ordering, otherwise, it will be defaulted to RTR.

2018 E63S Wagon
Only a US one. Not sure if it matters but the RTR are and have been a $1200 option from the start, the RTS are $1700 here.

build one online (2018) and it says $0 for RTS wheel (with AMG driver pkg option)
I doubt this would change for 2019 ... if it does, it is very small .... just consider it as a general price increase.

$500 option for RTS wheel (must be chosen with AMG driver package). So, consider that as a $3000 package, instead of $2500 (which was on MY2018).

btw, if you have not sign any deal yet. You should be looking to get around 4% off as the min., if your dealer is not giving you a penny off, you should consider going elsewhere; if you get more, then that's great.

thanks! Dealer is giving me 4% off so I’m happy there. But the price increase from 2018 to 2019 and also the changes in options and pricing make things difficult as no one has the ordering guide.

Not understanding why dealer does not have the ordering guide, they should have been available since Feb or March 2018 (without pricing), otherwise, how can people buy car without ordering guide.
