All you do like any cable removal from behind the console there is a plastic clip holding a cable wire or harness in that needs to be either pushed in and then pulled out, or the clip needs to pulled up. Here is what I mean. Hope that helps.

Yes all options that are disabled while the vehicle is in motion are now functional. Not like I would watch music videos while driving or anything.
