Love me some stationdragon. Nice choice on the new shoes. That front rotor crowding out the wheel gives off a really good motorsport vibe.

Will have to get me a set of quad tips during my ED but then getting them on will be a bit more envovled.

Here is a cold start video, which many of you have been asking for. Below that one is a tunnel video with windows open... that one was filmed on a closed course near the Chinese/Mexican border (apologies in advice for the vertical video format on that one, but it was the only way to shoot it safely). Enjoy... |

Which website did you source your non-S exhaust tips from?

What you might be able to do is source the GLE63 exhaust tips here in the US — they look similar to me, but I can’t speak to how they actually attach. If you have a good relationship with your dealer/parts department, I’m sure they’d be able to figure it out for you. P.S. the part numbers for the ones I purchased are: A2134904100 left A2134904200 right These part numbers (above) are for the black finish as seen on my car. If you want chrome, the part numbers (below) are: A2134903100 left A2134903200 right (I only know this because I had to trial and error the part numbers, and erroneously ordered one chrome and one black the first time around.) |
Did you have to remove the bumper to change the exhaust tips, or was it all possible with out doing that amount of work?
|
^ you need to remove the entire lower bumper.
I had my stock tips removed & replaced for warranty reason and the dealer had to do that |

I guess my dealer did it the safer way. :zoom:. When dealer told me it will be a 2.5 - 3 hrs job, I was puzzled of the length of time until they told me there is no other way to remove the tips.

Very tastefully modified and love your build journey. Photos are amazing.
