Tracked E63?
Tracked E63?
Anyone on here tracked their E63? I am gonna be going on a few track days, its gonna be awhile until I get something more lightweight and sport. Might be looking at a road trip from NY to Missouri around mid fall once my friend gets delivery of his car.

Check out this link showing our track results from our AMR Performance stage 1 E63s AMG
https://shop.amrperformance.com/2018...mph-tune-only/
That link doesn't really make sense... The dyno picture says max 708hp to the wheels. That's way too high off of a stage 1 tune. Everything else I see is more in line with 675whp best case scenario. Am I mistaken/wrong?

this is correct, Im surprised by these perplexed numbers. My highest is 689whp
I had the same challenges with my car after some spirited driving through the local mountain twisties. I told my local shop that when it's in for its performance upgrades that we should look to add some better quality brake fluid and possibly some better brake pads. The rep there didn't believe me. He felt his E63 ran fine with stock everything. I guess his and my definition of spirited driving are different. LOL But at the end of the day, my wallet, my choice, so we're looking to upgrade everything, especially as we're adding tune, turbos and exhaust in this upgrade.
There's so many variables in dyno numbers. Ambient air temp, altitude, quality of fuel, type of dyno that was used etc. Unless you're testing different cars on the same dyno, on the same day it's really more of a guide. But yes, it does seem a good bit higher than other tune only upgrade running on 93 octane. But hey, maybe they have some super smart guys/gals who have found the secret of unleashing mo powa?!?!?

I'm going to call Hawk Performance this week to see when / if they have products coming for our cars.
But in the meantime, better brake fluid should help a little.
I'd be happy to add some better brake pads, just haven't found any yet that fit. As it is, I have to enter 2018 as the model year for my car as most sites haven't updated their search to include 2019 yet.

Other companies make less power, so that automatically invalidates our results? We personally own the car and have already spent over a year doing research and development on it.
Regardless of if you believe our dyno sheet or not, our results were proven and backed up with our drag slip as well as the dragy app. Our vehicle went 10.5 at 132mph, which another company has yet to do with tune only E63s.
Stay tuned for what we have in store for the car!
Porterfield is my go to pad company.... if you send them your OE backing plates, they will set up a template - please do this so I dont have to.
Porterfield R4S is what you seek, you car wont sound like a school bus (Hawk HP+ and EBC yellowstuff - same heat range performance will squeal like crazy) Porterfield has excellent initial bite with little/no dust and high max op temp.
