Not sure man, but it's irrelevant....the car is what it is. Shop around for quality alignment shop and get fair price for good treatment/alignment....def don't pay more than 200usd, and that's on the high end

The only reason I could see for a surcharge for air suspension is if they verify the inclination of the suspension arms and then adjust ride height and verify sensor calibration if necessary. Took me about an hour to re-calibrate W211 air springs on all four corners. If not verifying calibration, it's just an alignment; verify toe and possibly install camber bolts up front. Agree with the others that $200 is max if just an alignment.

An hour to do it myself. Spent a few minutes ensuring a level floor (using digital level and floor tiles), then placing a digital level against the front control arms and rear axles, raising/lowering the car until the control arms and rear axles were in the factory designated range while ensuring sensor voltages were also in the allowable range, then entered the new inclination angles into the computer and pressed "program". Corrected a severely negative camber front and rear and eliminated a diagonal "rocking" motion" that was caused by one of the front control arms being significantly out-of-spec (inclination angle-wise) compared to the other side. Sounds difficult to perform but it is not.

$500 for alignment on 2016 AMG GTS
I took my 2016 AMG GTS to INTERSPORT in VA to install H&R lowring springs. The owner said, Yeah should be around $1500 TO INSTALL AND $300 to align. I gave him the car. Now i get the bill, its 2000 for the install and $500 for the alignment, and there is a not in the attachment it said, "WASNT ABLE TO FINE TUNE CAMBER OR CASTER TO MERCEDES EXACT SPEC. WILL NEED TO BUY CAMBER KIT"
Does $500 sound normal for an alignment? and specially when its not even done properly. The Tech's note says, need camber kit. Does that mean the shop did not have the equipment to perform the camber alignment properly?
Please help. I think I am getting ripped-off!
