A/C issues, anyone?

My 2019 has had this problem since 2 months after delivery. I brought it in and they changed the A/C compressor, but it still blows HOT air about 30% of the times I turn it on. I was just wondering if this has happened with anyone else's car and what was done to fix it? Thanks!

No problem with my 18 e63.

I would suggest turning off the start stop function for max cooling.

I had a problem with my A/C unit last summer. Over a period of about 3 - 4 weeks it slowly stopped working at all. I took it in, the tech pulled apart the unit, discovered a very small defect in one of the connections that was allowing coolant to leak out. The dealer considered it a manufacturing defect.

I've never had a problem in any of my MBs with the AC. (Although this BMW I have is totally different and wouldn't blow cold air on a popsicle in the middle of Antarctica.) But as stated ealier, turning the stop start off helps but seldom has that even given me much of a problem. Good luck.

Have you taken it back to the dealer to ask them to look at this again?
