Some of the changes include improved throttle response, optimized air to fuel ratios, ignition adjustments, climate/elevation specific tuning, modification specific tuning, and many more! Our tuning solution for the E43/E53/E63/E63S AMG is a must have for the auto enthusiast looking to optimize their vehicles performance! - - - - - - Power Gains for E43 (3.0L BiTurbo) - - - - - - +100hp +105tq
- - - - - - Power Gains for E53 (3.0L BiTurbo) - - - - - - +75hp +90tq
What are the numbers on the E53, I don't see any details. Does this void the warranty?
My apologies I did not realize we didn’t have the E53 numbers posted I went to head and updated the original post.
You can expect gains of 75hp and 90tq! As far as warranty we recommend returning the vehicle to stock before any dealer work. This will keep your warranty in tact and allow us to tune any future Software updates Mercedes makes to the ECU.

Even if you return the settings to stock, wouldn't they be able to detect the changes made when they download their info. These cars have lots of electronic tracking capabilities!!!

This is correct. Mercedes (and other car brands) have a counter for how many times your car was flashed. If it is incremented, kiss your warranty goodbye (unless your service advisor, the tech, and their managers are all in your pocket. I've heard mixed stories of: it's automatically sent as soon as they plug in your OBD-II port during oil changes, etc. and I've also heard it needs to manually be called in)

Think we touched on this before but whether it is us or another company once there is a read, edit, and write process it will always allow you to revert to stock. Yes there is a counter and the only purpose known to any tuner in the past has been a “max” limit on ecu programming which would lock an ecu. This was capped out at around 90 flashes on early OBD2 adapters. You will see horror stories about many things if you search hard enough but with relationships with dealers around the world it is not protocol to look for a counter and then more importantly there is no record showing a last # (again hypothetically). This is why your vehicle can go into a dealer and not have service done properly , etc. Whether it is a Ford, Ferrari, or Fiat I have never seen a dealer say “hey you have 2 flashes over x magical #). The only reason we even know about this is because of Software programming for early BMW E46 model where we had to flash on and off dyno literally 100 times (these were NA cars turned into SC cars). Tuning has been around for ever and technology whether via OBD, Bench pins, or opening happens around the world on a daily basis without this complaint. Not trying to go back and forth but we do welcome a phone call if you have any other questions but our position remains it is baseless but obviously respected. Thanks again and enjoy your vehicle in good health.

you’re talking to a guy with no warranty on a lease who has to pay a $200 diagnostic fee for a dealer even to look at any problem with my car because of a mygenius flash

marketing aside... be honest to your customers
There are several other factors to consider my friend. I am confident if we discussed on the phone I can pinpoint where the issue was with whatever ECU upgrade or company you went with. Maybe share your story in another thread and members will be able to relate but to make it seem like a simple ECU upgrade isn't common is not fair. Tuning via the OBD2 port have been around for years and has only become more and more reliable for the end user... the my genius communication device has been out for between 9 and 12 year and the developers get assistance from manufacturers as well as their own engineers (It is used by many and sold all over the world). We have even assisted in developing protocols for certain BMW models and providing ORI files for Mercedes models we had access too. NOT calling you a liar or trying to go back and forth just saying tuning via the OBD2 port has been out for years across the board and the "counter concern" is NOT an issue. 786-401-6520 , would love to discuss and further educate the members here on this topic. Thanks again for the contribution and taking your time to help the members, this is what it is all about at the end of the day.
note - Tuning via bench where the ECU is not opened is also an option for everyone, but whether it was a W204 C63s or current model the OBD2 solution is a dream for the Enthusiasts looking to modify their car.
