I just picked up an E63S First Edition and absolutely love it... with the exception of the alcantara/dynamica steering wheel, which seems as appealing as carpet in the bathroom.
Ideally I'd like to replace it with a carbon fiber/leather wheel that I've seen custom made for other cars (typically exotics).
Does anyone know of any custom shops that make custom steering wheels for the E63s? Or possibly even if there some OEM alternative.

I'm curious how hard this is due to the airbags and all of the infotainment buttons (like the trackpads, etc.)

I know a couple of guys from Instagram and they do a great job I’m about to do mine and taking it off not hard at all . I’ll keep u updated
Look up Neidfaktor. They do a lot of custom leather/carbon stuff for German cars. They did a full custom leather interior for my old Audi. Their work is incredible but they’re usually busy so you’d have to be patient.
Thanks for the link i was looking for one of these myself. Interested to see how hard it is to replace the wheel from this video it doesn't seem that bad.
IF you haven't swapped it out, I would do a swap with you. I have a full Nappa sport wheel on 2019 E63 (purchased Saturday on 9/5 with 230 miles on it).
Just a quick note, my experience (and my customers who I send to them) with Lederman Z has been excellent, and the quality is 1st class. Hope it is for the rest of you all...
