I did it once and have never done before and after and I got 6.5 (100-200kph). Should be 6.2-6.3 but I did not practice it before and after )

How was the install on the JB4 and did BMS do a custom configuration for the E63S? I have asked in the C63 thread, but they indicated that it was "in development"

Install is tricky I guess. Took my Indy about 4 hours. I have the JB4 set to map 0 until I can log some runs.

I am kind of surprised the JB4 just magically hooks up for Mercedes...

I guess TMAP sensors are the same whether it is BMW/Audi/Mercedes, and whatever OBD magic BMS is doing with the JB4 is universal enough to work for BMW/Mercedes/Audi... or they have some detection code to do different things depending on what kind of car it is in...

Very interesting...

Oh no, I'm dumb, they have an E63 model

Finally have car rolling after battling IAT issue and a boost leak. I think my current setup has a 10.5 at 130 in it with race gas based on fact this run was on the street and using 93 octane.

Top end is still where this car struggles. My best 60-130 has been in the 8.0-8.1 range. I think that is where upgraded turbos would help.

Is this with a tune and JB4? If so, what map? Which map are you planning on using with race fuel?

Personal best 1/4! Only concern is it appears my IAT issue is back. Time for my Indy to look at my 3 pumps again.

what mods do you have? can somebody shell insight on how much of an improvement that is over stock?

127mph trap speed seems slow compared to other cars?

Big improvement! Stock is 11.2 at best. Probably more like 11.4. Besides two shop cars I think this is the quickest W213 E63 on stock turbos.

i agree the top end (mph) on this platform struggles but hopefully upgraded turbos remedies that.

upgraded turbos also increase spool time/turbo lag, right? not by a lot but it for sure trades power down low for power up top from the dyno charts i’ve seen

11.2s - 10.7s = 0.5s improvement with... i forgot what you have. stage 2 tune, downpipes, filters, and jb4 on 93 octane?

i will never understand why people use a jb4 to add boost when you can just do it in the stage 2 flash. it just seems weird to me.

do you know your peak boost? i’m guessing all in net 4lbs over stock?

You nailed what I’m worried about. Helping my 60-130 times but hurting my launches and having turbo lag. A buddy that has C63 and Pure upgrade said the spool is noticeable different. Not bad just different

What is hard to understand? If you run too much boost on 93 you will run lean. So your options are flashing a 102 tune everytime you run 102 octane or running stage 2 tune for 93 and adding boost via JB4 with push of button. Flashing also has risk of failing.

Also if you just run stage 2 with 93 I don’t think you will get better than 10.9-11.0. That is my experience

skip turbos and upgrade your HPFP and go full E85

how could that not give you +100whp?

so how this piggy back device can be universal for two cars?
i understand that both cars have m177 marked engine, does it mean both cars share same engine?
