transmission temp
So had to pull over because my transmission temp was in the mid 200's and in the RED. Took to dealer, found fault code P06E7A, which is actuation of coolant pump for charge air cooler has malfunction. Replaced coolant pump on right side. Anyone else have this problem? I drive around in Sport mode, and it is pretty hot here in Florida.

Yup... was a bad sensor not opening the thermostat.

Had the same thing happen to my E63S wagon in Houston. The dealer said that it had air trapped inside the transmission. They topped off the fluid and I haven't had a problem since. The dealer stated it was the second one they had seen with that issue.
