E 53 Tire Options
First post here and first Mercedes! Very happy with the car so far, short of the very firm ride. I've been in Porsches over the last 7 years and wanted a change.
So my question here is can we up size tires and lose the run flats? Is tire up size going to screw up computer system in car with wrong diameters ect? Was thinking of going 255/30-20 and 295/30-20 to get a little more side wall and some better looks.

I have the stock 20’s. 245/35-20 front. 275/30-20 rear.
I know sizes i suggested increase diameter and width of course. Just don’t want to make changes and end up with codes or problems with GPS etc I know with Porsche’s I have owned to much change in diameter will cause faults at times.

That is exactly what I am going to do, I also have the stock 20s and those Pirelli runflats are like stone.
